I would not change the experience of being an artisan for anything; being there, and witnessing the developing of an idea from the very beginning to the completion of the artwork is so rewarding and fulfilling, it is almost like giving birth (with all proper respect) once or twice a month.

Today paper is not only my friend, but also my confidant and loyal companion - it has been with me in the good times and in the bad times, it has given me opportunity to communicate in a beautiful way my feelings, my dreams, my thoughts and my fears.

I want to express my deep appreciation for the support that ACTA (Alliance for California Traditional Arts) has given me since 2000, and I hope that these pieces give you even a small piece of the joy that I feel when creating them.
